I first discovered Folly Beach in 2008. Fell in love with it and bought my family a large vacation home just a block from the beach. We didn't realize that we could share our home and make a nice income doing so, we just wanted to have some great family memories on the beach. Several years ago VRBO came along and provided us an excellent opportunity to share our property with other families when we're not there! I must say it's been a learning process in terms of giving guests what they want when they're booking your accommodation but I've gotten to be quite good at it so I think!
Why Glenn chose Folly Beach
This property is all about the ocean. If you don't love the ocean there's no need to stay here. Also unlike many folly properties this one is very close to downtown since it's only less than a mile from the bridge and in 25 minutes you're in downtown Charleston with all of the great restaurants and activities... If you like Uber your looking at a $20 Uber ride at the very most to downtown.
What makes this House unique
This home is very large. It has enough beds to sleep 16 people very comfortably. Also a spacious sunroom, living room guest bathroom all of that. Granite countertops stainless steel appliances new toilet seats. What else do you want? Most likely this house has it. You can't go wrong staying here...
